Built in 1940 and opened Oct 23 1940 as the Piccadilly and was the flagship of the Clifford circuit. In 1967 the Piccadilly was taken over by Greater Union and renamed The Forum ( it was used by Hoyts for a time while the Regent and Paris Theatres were being renovated to make way for the Regent Arcade). Purchased by the Wallis Group who renamed it the Picadilly, openeing again on Friday December 16, 1983. .Opened as a triplex in 1990.
