Film Weekly (21 October 1954, p.8.) reports " The old Plaza Theatre at Chelsea, which was closed down by the Health Department on April 2 because of faulty air conditioning was put up for auction last Wednesday...Fred Yeomans who operates the Camden at Caulfield will do up the show completely...before reopening it to the public round about christmas...the theatre was previously operated by Chelsea Victory."
