The Healesville Cinema is located in the 1923 Healesville Memorial Hall and is still operating as a cinema and multi-purpose hall.

According to Film Weekly (1946-1971) there have been a number of venue exhibitors and seating capacity changes during its lifetime: 1946 to 1952 J.A King is recorded as the venue exhibitor with a seating capacity of 550 changing to 495 in 1950; from 1952-1966 D.G Henderson is recorded as the proprietor with a seating capacity of 474; from 1966-1979 the proprietors are noted as A. Eva & A. McPherson with a seating capacity of 454. Brian Luscombe the venue projectionist, took over the operation of the venue in circa 1970. Seating capacity at this time was approximately 300-400.
Originally the venue only screened films on Friday and Saturday nights. Currently it screens films Tuesday and Saturday nights having recently (2009) being taken over by the Yarra Ranges as part of the Upper Yarra Ranges Arts and Entertainment Network. The current film programme screens in conjunction with the Mecca Theatre in Warburton.
