Public Building Files: Closed down shortly in 1967/8 and changed hands. Inspection report dated April 1968 states "Mr Weybury is no longer showing at this theatre, in fact theatre has been closed for films for several months." In 1972, reopened as a live theatre, home to The 1812 Theatre Company. Listed as Local Hall from 1943-1946, then as Loyalty from 1947-1970.
