Operation dates are based on Catrice (p. 232) and last listing in Film Weekly motion picture directories. Colin Gibson ran the Tasma from 1941 to 1947. Victor Shuttleworth then purchased the cinema operating untill July 1958. In November 1958 the Caltex Oil Company purchased the site and the building was demolished and turned into a service station.
