Operation dates are based on Catrice data. According to Catrice the theatre was established in the Federal Hall. (Catrice, p. 239)

It was reported in the Advertiser in 1913 that protests had been held in favour of banning Sunday screenings.

In November 1913 the Westopia Theatre was re-decorated, re-equipped and re-opened as the Victor Theatre.

The Victor Theatre also doubled as a dance hall run by Mr. & Mrs. O'Shea, as advertised in the Advertiser, July 15, 1922.
