Four Cinema Complex- closed by Hoyts in April 2003- re-opened on April 25, 2004.

"The cinemas were closed in 2003 and then re-opened in 2004 as the Croydon Ritz Cinemas before then being purchased by Australian Cinemas late 2005". (Australian Cinemas Croydon)

Australasian Cinema (5 May 1978, p. 8.) reports "May 4th will see the 'demise' of our last Independent Circuit. Dendy Cinemas at Forest Hill and Twins at Knox City and Croydon, will from that date be under the Village Theatre banner..."
