Was the first Rivoli in Camberwell.
Robert Mc Leish built the first Rivoli Theatre in Camberwell, reported to have seated 2,200.

Built by Robert McLeish for 30,000 pounds. McLeish wish to build a luxury cinema
theatre in the suburbs so people would not have to travel to the city for a night out.
It was officially opened on Wednesday evening, May 18, 1921.
After a trip to America in 1928 McLeish purchased a vast amount of sound equipment
from R.C.A. and was thus one of the first Australians to instal sound to his cinemas.
