Other Information Opened on May, 17th of 1846 as Teatro do GymnÃ¡sio. It as altered to be more comfortable in 1856, and enlarged in 1869 in order to offer more places. It burned down on November, 6th of 1921. It was rebuilt and reopened in November, 27th of 1925. It starts to show just films in 1934.
