Venue Comments

Moving pictures were exhibited in the Bodalla Public Hall courtesy of a host of different travelling show companies from the early years of the 19th century. In 1957 the original building was replaced by a larger structure and renamed the Bodalla Memorial Hall. A semi-regular picture show, operating under the name of the Bodalla Memorial Theatre, continued on a semi-regular basis until late 1960.
