"Bart Mott's circuit had occasionally operated as far south as Hyden in the early days, but it was Paddy Baker who moved his regular weekly screenings from the sports pavilion to the new hall as soon as it opened... Basil Colmer took over screenings in 1963 and continued to about 1968, ceasing well before the drive-in opened."
