Venue Comments

The Lyceum Hall became the site of the first demonstration of the moving pictures in Bega in 1987 courtesy of the Elite Concert Co. Travelling companies continued to exhibit in the venue until 1910. At this time the lease for the building transferred to motor car transport and repair company, Balmain Brothers who converted the hall into a garage and sales room.
The building still exists and presently functions as a carpet warehouse.
