A variety of travelling picture show companies used Ulladulla School of Arts hall to exhibit films throughout the early decades of the 21st century. Parkinson (2005, p. 54) notes as that the building did not have a projection box indicating that films were likely to have been projected from outside the venue. Exhibition is known to have continued until at least the early 1930s although there is no evidence of a permanent cinema being established (Parkinson 2005, p. 54).
