16mm films were exhibited between 1956 -1958. Screenings ceased due to unprofitability of venture (Parkinson 2005, p. 12). There is no other record of film exhibition in Bombaderry possibly because of the villages close proximity to Nowra. Throughout the 20th century several cinemas operated at this location.
